The 1999 remake of The Thomas Crown Affair, starring Pierce Brosnan, Rene Russo, and Anna Knutzhorn, is one of the few remakes that is considered superior to the original film.  Of the many things that made it appeal to people in all walks of life was its delicious mix of authentic works of art and beautiful fakes--for that indeed was what the film was all about, on many levels. Just days after we saw the film, we walked into Nordstrom & there was this necklace from the same company, identical to the necklace in the film, & looking even more intriguing in the faux marcasite version. We tried to get two of these, but Nordstrom had only the one & could not scare up another. This beautiful prop design necklace has been tried on but never worn. It is in perfect working order. It is exquisite faux-silver, it has no scratches nor losses of coating nor loose links. The exquisitely lovely small miniature crystal stones are smoke-colored.
